I would consider myself a hobbyist. I am interested in lots of different hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, painting, drawing, baking, needle felting, loom knitting, scrapbooking and photographing. I began creating artwork at an early age and I created my own jewelry to wear. So many beads…and I still have so many beads. As I grew older, I became more fascinated with art and I joined an art class in high school where I worked with acrylic paint and I joined an oil painting class in college. My favorite art medium is acrylic paint because it’s so versatile and dries a lot faster than oils. Since then, I have not painted a whole lot of artwork. But, I have found many other hobbies such as card making, scrapbooking, needle felting and most recently loom knitting. I also like to bake and take pictures of my creations. Photography is another hobby I like to do. I love to capture the breathtaking moments that only last a minute such as the beautiful sunsets I see here in Washington.
